  the hotel was superb, the room was very much a 'country house' style and was one of the nicest hotel rooms that I have stayed in. The breakfast was freshly cooked using local produce and the staff were very friendly and helpful.   loved the frendlyness of the staff and fantastic food, - Delightful setting, staying at the village pub enhanced the experience of rural England. Food in the restaurant was excellent, and there was a selection of good real ale. Staff were fantastic, and the rooms clean and cosy. Our bathroom was across the hall, but didn't detract from the stay.

  We had a super room overlooking the river, the room was very comftable with arm chairs, tea/coffe making facilities, super large bed.The web site did not do this hotel justification we thought it was very good value for money and the evening meal we had was superb, would recommend this hotel to anyone. - as above plus great staff, very helpful.
