However the reception staff were marvellously kind and welcoming and gave us a complimentary tray of tea in the lounge. When it became clear that there would be a further delay, we were switched to another room immediately. I am full of praise for the reception staff.

the games room, we used the most.there was a very gfood singer, that was not really our thing, but everyone else seemed to like it , and we could enjoy it,but still play pool etc in the annex off from it, so it was well thought out - Very impressed by naveens hospitality and even upgraded myroom...nice one!

Was upgraded from executive double to executive suite on arrival which was a nice surprise. The decoration and facilities in the room were superb, one of the best rooms that I have ever stayed in. stayed for 2 nights with a party of 7. and when we arrived we we`re greeted by a very nice chap at the reception and given the keys to the rooms to relax.and basically from that moment on the 2 nights was excellent and all the staff smiled and nothing was too much trouble.the 5 course meal was fab,the beds comfortable & breakfast ample.all in all a lovely weekend had by all

Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere and good restaurants, especially the Italian.
If you eat in, you WILL put on weight!
Comfortable side room with reasonable view.
Very clean, despite the obvious age of the building, which adds to the "antique charm".
Enjoyed my few days break and would happily return.

A very nice hotel, with friendly and very helpful staff. The room was large and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. We called in early in the morning and as our room was ready we were allowed to book in straight away rather than waiting until the afternoon which was very helpful. -
