Charming and unpretentious, I loved this hotel because it did not have the facilities or glamour of a boutique hotel but it had staff who cared , was very clean and comfortable and had a good old fashioned honesty about it which is so hard to find. Dinner was fresh , beautifully cooked and completely delicious. -

Awesome historic building overlooking the sea but don't be put off. Room was very modern, heated bathroom floor and the best shower I've ever been in. Clearly renovated recently. Restaurants were good, great breakfast (overlooking the ocean) and dinner. Friendly enough staff. Little expensive but not overpriced. Would stay here again.

Beautiful building. We had a lovely room in the main building with a great view. Rooms and beds are very comfortable. The Fowey Hall hotel was amazing! The staff is attentive, friendly and very helpful. The suite was clean and comfortable every day of our stay. Children are welcome and provided recreational activities indoors and outdoors. Breakfast was wonderful, my girls miss Cherish, the greatest waitress! Overall our stay was amazing in this beautiful former Hanson mansion. Still maintaining it's character and 19th century charm. We will definitely visit again.

Extremely well presented hotel and I love the period decor and the ornate wood paneling in the dining room. Breakfast buffet was very good, and the swimming pool, Jacuzzi and sauna were extremely clean. It was a very relaxing place to be. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at Trenython Manor. The hotel is set a long way off the road with lovely grounds. The rooms look as if they are chalet style, each with a balcony, and inside the open plan bathroom/shower is a nice touch and makes the room even more spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Room exceptionally clean and well presented. The food in the restaurant was superb and the waiting staff professional and friendly. The pool, steam room and sauna all very well done in the spa - great for a relaxing couple of days.

We booked a suite and it was worth every penny, great views great room great breakfast.
We had a swim and had the pool to ourselves its a little dated and in need of some TLC but you would have to be a real winger to complain about this detail. The lifts worked fine but we opted to walk up the tastefully decorated stairs.

Stayed for a weekend in February 2013 and we enjoyed every minute. Hotel very welcoming, clean, nice and warm.
Restaurant is mega quirky and a joy to relax in.
Leisure area utilised, sauna excellent combined with dips in the pool (Which was a bit fresh!)
The breakfast was - delicious. Plenty of choice to be had both hot and cold.
All in all a very enjoyable, relaxing stay and we will book again without hesitation!

Only on site for 10 hours (arrived late and left early) - but what I sore was all good.
Breakfast options on the day start from approx £5 if you want tea and toast, lots of options up to the £12.50 full English which was very good.
Spa looked great, would have loved to have spent more time there.
The place was apparently full, I sore about 6 guests during my short stay and heard no one - very quiet. Beautiful surrounds.
