  The marvellous Meg on reception. Could not do enough for you and she cared that you enjoyed your stay. Otherwise the hotel was much like any other Premier Inn although undergoing extension new-build which did not detract. It is set in a small but very busy area easily reached from the M74 - The staff were really lovely and the room was beautiful ... hva folk sier » . Price well worth it for the well decked out room ..   This is the second time in a month that myself and girlfriend have spent the weekend at the Alona. As usual on arrival we are greated with cheeery and very smart recepionist and a glass of wine of course. The checkin was over in minute and our room again was immaculate. We will be be going back soon as we simply adore staying ther - After i had booked our room,i received a phone call from Gary the receptionist,who enquierd if we were part of the Wedding party that they were haveing,when we said we were not,we were givein an upgrade & room on the front of the hotel,so as not to be inconvenienced by the party,which my wife & i thot was a fine example of a hotel looking after all of their guests,& a welcome drink was a nice touch,breakfast was exllent & the evening meal was quite superb.

  Extremely pleasant, friendly and helpful staff. Our room wasn't ready on arrival but the staff took our bags, jackets etc. We had a great lunch and our room cards were brought to us in the restaurant and our bags etc were already in the room. The hotel was very easy to find and lots of parking space. - I love how the dakota looks it is a beautiful hotel especially the lounge reception and dining area the staff are always lovely and helpful especially tge receptionist that was on when i arrived at the hotel i think it is really good for business occassions.

  Good clean accomodation in a spacious room, good shower pressure, comfy bed. We stayed for the one night as a place to get some sleep as we travelled down south, room had all we needed for the night. Plenty of parking available. Lady on reception was very friendly and ponited us in the direction for some places for dinner. Deals available on break... hva folk sier » fast. - 1. A very warm welcome from the receptionist on arrival and later that evening on our return to the hotel. She was extremely helpful, friendly and curteous. 2. The location situated just of the M74. Easy access to Glasgow city.
