Our room was actually a suite large twin, comfortable sitting room, spacious en suite bathroom - plus two TVs. Best value ever. The fact that breakfast was served at seven on a Sunday and the staff were there to welcome us at eleven in the evening. Room was very nice and clean, pleasent helpfull staff, food was excellent and fairly priced. Staff very helpful, restaurant was mobbed, breakfast very nice. Room clean.

The Hotel is located short distance from Motherwell town centre...comes with impressive frontage and entrance area! The dining area/restaurant is impressive also...providing what appears to be an extensive menu. Something for everyone... The breakfast was generous and tasty and the evening meal we had was excellent. This is a pleasant, comfortable budget hotel. Good location out of the city. The hotel is very central to town. The staff are very helpful. Service was good and the room was clean and tidy. Location to train and town. Not applicable. The room door was hard to close. Would of liked some beans with my cooked breakfast. It was a bit cold although the heating kicked in a few times , especially through the night. I didn't think that my room had been vacuumed while we there. Other than that it was clean. Nothing. Tiny shower. Took ages for hot water. All was nice and clean. Staff were polite and very friendly. did not like the mountain of cigarette butts that you had to walk through to the entrance of the hotel from the car park ,this is not a good impression. Uncomfortable bed. There is no inter-active bar area... no where to relax enjoy a quiet drink! Would go so far as to say that 'the bar' is an off putting after thought! The rooms are basic and functional, but tired and in need of upgrade/repair. Toilet in our room was not flushing properly. The interior of the hotel seems very tired, the rooms could definitely do with a refurb. The full English breakfast could do with an upgrade also a better choice of juices. There definitely should be wi fi in every room. The food was poor and under cooked,breakfast was ok. The shower/toilet was very small. It was dirty smelly food was awful and price of drinks in bar was expensive.
