Sea Gulls calling and screeching 24 hours a day - even at night. The fire alarm went off and we were stuck outside for 1 hour at 3 am because the landlord did not have someone available to shut it off. The parking spot is very, very tight. We had an Audi A5. It was a difficult fit.
Only negative things were internet was slow and limited for the price of apartment,we could not watch movies online and in a bath drain were hair.
as with most accommodation in the UK we found no hooks in the bathroom, which means nowhere for hanging clothes.
A discreet label beside switches would have helped us a lot. Spent ages trying to locate the main switch for the cooker.
A bit disappointed on arrival as thought from the booking that we had a riverside view from the balcony but did not. That was the only downfall of our stay.
We did not get an apartment in the Bridge Street apartments. It was
further from the river, with absolutely no views. The site on
letsbookhotel.com is not clear about the apartment as all indications are that
it is part of the Bridge Street apartments complex. It is not!! Beware
when booking.
It would have been nice to have a small starter kit - coffee, tea milk etc. heating was difficult to control. Access to the parking was blocked due to road works. Advice if ths prior to arrival would ave been good. Balcony door dd nt lock.
The fact that you book online for bridge street apartment but you get
different one when you get there.one that I could of booked on line for
hundred pound cheaper.
