The room was great, the breakfast was great. There was a little difficulty checking in as this accommodation is managed by the hotel across the road and the staff member was new but otherwise the staff at the hotel, and the host for Ardentorrie house were very friendly. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and views was nice. Short way to town is good. Guest house had space for parking and it was easy to drive there. The best was the room. It was clean and very comfortable.

Location just behind the castle is splendid, few minutes walk from the center. Fantastic view over Inverness. Owner is a very nice guy and did all he could to make us feel at home. You have to make a phone call to host when you need help after 8 pm. it wasn't an issue at all. But it's better to call in advance to confirm the arrival hours and entrance code as there is no reception. Size of the wash hand basin could be improved and shades on bedside lamps should be changed to allow more luminescence. bit out of the way. Lumpy bed. less than brilliant shower. I didn't think the cooked breakfast was up to much.If I hadn't already paid for it I would have gave it a miss after the first effort.Also the sink in the toilet was like a tiny trough.
