  We loved absolutely everything! The location overlooking Wensleydale is superb. The bedrooms are bright, warm and comfortable and the shower in the conservatory bedroom was one of the best I have ever used in a hotel. ALL the staff are friendly, helpful, local and provide excellent service. The food, especially breakfast, is great Yorkshire fare... hva folk sier » . The public rooms are warm and welcoming and the barman knows how to serve a drink. Last but very much not least, this is a very dog friendly hotel - We loved almost everything about The Stone House Hotel. The public spaces are charming and comfortable. Our room, one of the smallest, was tastefully refurbished and also very comfortable. The staff, Josh in particular, could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The location is excellent with a lovely one-mile walk across the fields down to the town.   The YHA in Hawes is exceptional and so many friendly people stayed at the same time as myself and sisters. The area is stunning and it a great place to stay if you walking the Pennine Way. My sisters and I use the YHA whenever we are able and will continue to do so. Thank you, your GREAT! - Location was spot on. Short drive to Horton to do the 3 ... hva folk sier » peaks challenge. Ideal for pie & a pint afterwards . Friendly helpfull staff. Definitely some where I would consider staying again. Especially of you're on a tight budget.
