We loved absolutely everything! The location overlooking Wensleydale is superb. The bedrooms are bright, warm and comfortable and the shower in the conservatory bedroom was one of the best I have ever used in a hotel. ALL the staff are friendly, helpful, local and provide excellent service. The food, especially breakfast, is great Yorkshire fare

We loved almost everything about The Stone House Hotel. The public spaces are charming and comfortable. Our room, one of the smallest, was tastefully refurbished and also very comfortable. The staff, Josh in particular, could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The location is excellent with a lovely one-mile walk across the fields down to the town.
