  A picturesque, peaceful place. Large tasteful bedroom, beautifully furnished. Fabulous bathroom/wet room. Nothing was too much trouble. We felt like we were staying with the owners in their own home rather than paying guests. Breakfast was first class.   Lovely friendly service and fantastic food in the fine dining restaurant. It finds the balance between luxury and comfort really nicely. Not too posh, but very polished and welcoming. We were able to unwind and had a very relaxing stay. It was nice to see families in the hotel and we liked the family friendly atmosphere.
