The staff at Hostal Paris were extremely helpful and pleasant. The place
was exceptionally clean. Though the bathroom needs serious updating you
could at least get some hot water from a shower head which would stay
hanging on the wall. When we had a very difficult situation with guests
next door going on some bad trip between 2 and 6 in the morning T.he
staff a) took our complaints about noise seriously and tried to stop the
noise and b) when that failed the staff gave us a new room to move to

Very nice and basic hostel for budget travellers. The room was really spacious and there were clean sheets and towels. No air con but a good fan which was just enough (the weather was around 28-29 degrees at those days). 24-hour reception. Wi-fi worked well in the room also. Good location, only 10mins walk to the Gibraltar border and 5mins to the bus station. 35 euros (17,5e per person) for a private twin room for one night - definitely worth the money!.
Good location, 10-15 minute walk from border. We had a very noisy room the first night as it was facing the street and just above the reception. We asked if we could move and they immediately got us another room which was great. Its not a resort but just a good place to sleep.

Easily accessible for town, very clean, easy to book and very reasonable. Staff very helpful. Great there is a fridge for guests to use in the main reception.

It was in the city centre, not far from the border, there were good places to eat, and the staff was extremely nice and helpful.

Good location with own parking places in the basement garage ( 8 Eu/day). In the center, lots of cafes, restaurants nearby. Room is basic but clean and big with good aircon. Comfortable beds.Bathroom (in room) is clean but worn out (mould on tiles). Asked for silent room, which was really silent but do not expect a view. Stuff was really nice and helpful.
The entire hostel was very clean with a surprisingly comfortable bed. The location was easy to get to from the bus station, shopping areas and Gibralter. Having a sink in the room was a big plus.
Price, for hostal clean, problems with tv quickly resolved by moving me
to another room fortunately I had not unpacked case. First two

The guy at the reception did not speak english fluently, but tried his
best to help us. This was goo, because in most hotels in Spain hotel
stuff did not speak English. Big plus was the air conditioning.
Surrounded by fabulous restaurants and bars. Close to the crossing to Gibraltar. Parking not too expensive but tight to get in and out.
Location was close to Gibraltar and the cost was cheap.
Noisy neighbours - hardly the hostal's fault. The bathroom badly
needs updating. It was clean and worked - though only just.
The shower at our floor wasn't working properly, just gave really small amount of water. No breakfast option available.

Address in letsbookhotel.com is not correct,GPS did not find it so it was difficult to find the hostel. (otherwise easy).
Walls are paper thin and due to tiled floors I basically had a sound curfew so I wouldn't wake the neighbors who went to sleep early. There was only one full bathroom and a separate toilet for 15 rooms on the floor.
Night time door locked so enterance by bell to wake up reception too
loud kept me awake, poor postion to unload or load. 8 euros to park.

The room is cleaned poorly. Although the bedding was new, we found long
black hairs on it (probably maids). Plenty of hairs on the floor. And
although it was non smoking room it smelled like someone was smoking
there, on the other hand that is not hotels fault, but others customers
who do not respect hotels rules.

Workman outside the window in the morning, location did not feel safe,
staff did not want to interact, shared shower was freezing cold, no
working light in the single toilet.
