location, staff, room. a) the location is very strategic.near to the bus station (5 -10min) and to gibraltar (15-20min) by feet b) the staff is very friendly n can speak english! Ths is yay! c) room is very clean and comfrtable. Good sized room, comfortable bed, great location within easy walk of Gibraltar. Excellent security and parking for a few cars. Staff gave excellent suggestions for places the "locals" eat at!.
alle vurderinger » This hostal was a 5 minute walk to the Gibraltar border, parking was available on site and the room was comfortable. Cheap vending machine on 1st floor and free wifi in the room. Very clean and staff were very friendly. Ina good position for walking to gibraltar and town . 15 min stroll along waterfront takes you to border. Was very clean . Perfect location. A short walk to the Gibraltar boarder. Valuable information from the staff. Free parking in front of the hostal. Very close to the buss station. nothing. a) intrnt cnnction is unreachable eventhough im in the first floor. b) No kettle, is not a big deal if you are not using it. anyway, all hotels/pensions that ive stayed in spain wl kot provide it. pls be prepared if you use it when you want to travel in spain. Nothing really, although the air conditioning unit was a little noisy when turned off!. Very basic but costs reflect this. Nothing. Internet access didn't work in room. Area did not look too good. Nothing. I would have liked more location details as I had no idea where the hotel was and I had to hire a taxi and follow it in my car to find the place. It would be so easy to find with a few details.... Its on the left at second last rounder-about by the Hong-kong Wok on the main road leading into Gibaltar. The air con was uncontrollable, providing the options only of a hot sweaty room or a cold clammy one. The window opened onto the inner courtyard, which was not accessible to residents: there was no air movement, and our view was mainly of a large white insulated tank of unknown function. The floor was clean but looked grubby, the extractor in the shower didn't seem to extract anything, and there was a hole in the bathroom ceiling with mould around it. It was quite expensive for what it was and no breakfast. The wifi did not work in the bedroom. Poor English. Unpleasant smell in the room, we were bitten by bed bugs, near noisy street, wifi did not work in the room. Strange that there are so many positive comments, actually, they confused us. Unfriendly staff. The first thing they told us, before wellcome, was to make the payment in advance... Dirty rooms and smelly. Our room was next to a non stop fast food. With the window closed we couldn't sleep because of the bad smell from the bathroom, with the window open, because of the bad smell coming from the fast food. It was hot and the AC was very noisy. Creepy place. booked 4 1 week stayed 1 night that was enough terrible noisy place would never go there again .
