  This was one of the highlights of our Trip around Norway. Relaxed hospitality as it should be. Excellent local produce, no choice and yet the meal was enjoyed by all 12 dinner guests. Hikers are encouraged to make their packed lunch from the breakfast buffet. Beautiful bright and clean rooms in a charming set of farm buildings. Fiords, waterfalls ... hva folk sier » and easy to find. What more could you ask. - The Gentleman that runs this hotel deserves a great deal of credit. The rooms are modern comfortable and well maintained. The food we had was delicious and well presented. We asked for advice on hiking routes and he was very enthusiastic and informative. Our stay at Nes Gard was one of the highlights of our holiday

  The best thing was the room, we liked everything: the bed, the bed-linen, the bathroom, the design. The food was very delicious. The staff was helpful and friendly. The location is featured by the ferry terminal to cross the fjord. - Very friendly and quiet with a high standard of comfort. Scienic views of the Sogn Fjord

  The staff was very friendly and helpful. The vista from our room was excellent. Scrumptious and lovingly arranged breakfast with wholegrain bread and muesli options. - It was included a good and varied breakfast. Confort room with a wonderful Jostedalsbreen views.

  The view of this hotel is very good, a great lake view. We rent an apartment, it's spacious. The small balcony is good for chat and drinks to view such a great lake. It's easy accessible to the main pier and the supermarket nearby. Flåm is a small town, we stayed for 3D2N, one day we took bus to Aurland for hiking, it's convenient. There are some... hva folk sier » trails for hiking in Flåm. We followed the trails to see waterfall. It's good. - The view from our deck was amazing, probably better than the view from the hotels that are nearer to the reail station and port. The room was pretty big, and had all the facilities needed to cook and eat. For those who do not cook, there is a bar/restaurant on the basement that offers basic meals at fair prices.

  Flam is a very beautiful place at the bottom of a fjord, and shouldn't be missed. The hotel is 2 minutes from the train overlooking the fjord. Staff were outstanding, very friendly, welcoming and offering advice on walks in the local area. Facilities were very good. It was winter so not many tourists-which we loved! Would highly recommend Flam a... hva folk sier » nd this particular hotel, although miss summer when tourist numbers are considerable. - This hotel is located in a beautiful spot, a very short walk to the Flam train station and the Gutvagen ferry dock, and next door to Flam's excellent microbrewery/restaurant. Our room was large, bright, had a really nice view from room and balcony, a very comfortable bed, and good reading lights. Staff was friendly and helpful.

  Et helt fantastisks sted. Restauranten på Knutholme hadde en herlig mat som bare må oppleves. God service og hyggelige kelnere. En plass som kan anbefales vist en vil ha en romantisk helg. - Veldig god mat, rolig og avslappende plass, flott overnatting, og ikke minst fantastisk gjestfrihet. God service.

  Vi har besøkt flere historiske hoteller i Skandinavia, Tørvis Hotel er det beste! Dette var et fantastisk sted, absolutt alt var helt nydelig: mat, vin, betjening,rommet, stuene, spisestuene, hele hotellet.   The awesome staff, specially Mr. Stephane Bazin, who did his best to make my short stay memorable! Plentiful options and good quality food for breakfast. Clean room and hotel. Good Wi-fi. The best feature of the hotel is of course the lake, which begins at the footsteps of the patio... Staff was nice and helpful - gave us lake view room ("you're tourists, you should get the best") even though I booked cheeper one.

  We had an excellent large room with two panoramic windows and fjord view. The location is very convenient- just few meters from the ferry terminal (but still silent!) and very close to Balestrand. The selection of food at breakfast might be wider, but it's typical for Norway, yet the quality was perfect. Very delicious fish at dinner. Friendly hos... hva folk sier » ts and helpful personnel. - The location is excellent, just around the corner from Balestrand and 500m from the ferry. It is also a good base for lots of walks. We had the 3 course dinner at the hotels restaurant which was yummy but the best was the wonderful view while eating dinner. We could see dolphins in the fjord! Staff were friendly and helpful and the place was very clean.
