  The hotel was warm and comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. The food in hotel dining room was amazing.   Nice that guest from Spitsbergen Guesthouse can use the Workout room inkluding, massage chair, sauna, shower room, solarium , get a coup coffe or tea and sit in the lobby at Spitbergen Hotel. I did also use the PC for free. - Staff were very helpful and obliging, especially when I mixed up a plane reservation - they contacted sas for me & foun... hva folk sier » d a room @ the busy Guesthouse for another night - great service with a smile! The facilities are older and are well-maintained and clean. I would prefer staying at the Guesthouse as it is part of the history of the area. - I arrived at about 7.45pm and just caught the reception staff before they left for the night. She was very friendly and helpful. The room was a reasonable size and very clean, the bathrooms were also very clean. The kitchen was well stocked and clean and tidy. I caught the 3am bus to the airport which stopped right outside the guesthouse.

  The best part was the size of the apartment, we were 3 persons, but the place could easily accommodate 6 or 7 people.
