  The location is nice, close to the center, to the port where Hurtigruten ferry docks and overllooking the sea. The two rooms we rent - very clean - were quiet, bright and sufficiently spacious. Breakfast was good and offered a wide choice of food. Room was quite large and comfortable. The window opened fully. Sea view. Quiet. Breakfast was really good..lots of it. Good choice. Internet access from a computer in the lounge.

  We left an expensive souvenir in the room and when I called them they found it and sent it to us. Nice hotel in the centre of the city, nice pub restaurant in the same building. - Great central location just a short walk from both harbour and bus station. Free hot drinks available.

  Great staff. At check-in, Jasmine was awesome: friendly and knowledgeable. Moderately priced hotel. 5 minute walk from the bus stop and 10 minute walk to the hurtigruten terminal. Rooms are clean and the shower a good size by European standard. Breakfast buffet was a feast. Wifi was strong throughout the hotel. We caught some fish and they cooked it for us, so we didn't have what was on the menu, but if our dinner is anything to go by they really know what they are doing! Breakfast is quite good. - The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. They exuded warmth and went out of their way to make us welcome. The fireside reception lobby was warm and inviting. The location was superb. Breakfast was the best we had on our whole trip and the breakfast room had a light, warm and friendly feeling with a world class view. Would love to stay here again. Highly recommend.

  It was a nice stay in ålesund hostel. For a small price you can have a kind and helpful service ( even when you get sunburn ;)), clean and comfortable rooms and delicious breakfast. Although the hostel is situated in a center- you do not need to worry about the noise during the nights. You can sleep well.
