  Very friendly stall. We rented 3 rooms for our family. The front desk staff immediately upgraded my wife and my room to a deluxe unit. We had asked for quiet rooms so when we arrived around 2 pm, we were asked if we could wait 1-hour for the requested rooms. The breakfast was excellent and the location could not have been better - right next to the central train station. We were only 1- ni - The hotel exudes old-world charm: nice wood wainscotting, lovely wood floors, and Oriental rugs. A large first floor room stays open all day with complimentary coffee, tea, and fruit and a limited menu. Breakfast is fabulous. Whimsical light fixtures in the rooms add a nice touch. A close walk to the center of town. Across the street from the train station and several blocks from the bus station.

  Utsikten var fabelaktig. Bodde i fjerde etasje. Det er lokalisert mitt i hjertet av Bergen. Frokosten var førsteklasses, god plass i frokostlokalet. Dusjen var stor, og baderommet delikat. Rett og slett en helhetlig flott opplevelse. - veldig fin resturant. Og utmerket service. Veldig fornøyd:D

There are three flyss buss stops very close - only 40€ to get to downtown Bergen (fish market, the mountain tram, train station) The breakfast was delicious, the room very comfortable - I found the price one of the best in Bergen ...   First of all I loved the staff. Everybody, starting from the reception through the dining room and cleaning staff were friendly, smiling and caring. The location of the hotel was amazing. I also had a room at the rear of the hotel overlooking the park which was exceptionally quiet despite reading reviews about noise. Helpful and pleasant staff. We had an internal room & although there was no natural light, it was silent so we slept brilliantly. It was a good size and had everything you would expect. The location is great: very central and it is easy to walk to all the attractions of the city.
