  An excellent location opposite to the railway station and bus terminal. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was unexpectedly spacy for Japan, with all facilities needed. Clean and with good sound insulation. - Largest room I stayed in during my trip, excellent location. Staff were very helpful.

  Mie Sumi (the lady at the ryokan) was very helpful in everything, including making reservation for bus ride to Takayama. My wife and I also made full use of the free bicycles in our exploration of the main sights in lovely Kanazawa. In our views, cycling is the best way to experience the city, especially when you have limited time. The location of... hva folk sier » the ryokan is excellent, right next to the city's main market, Omicho, where you can find Japanese restaurants and cafes (including Starbucks if you - The family running it are extremely helpful and kind. Our one dinner and three breakfasts were plentiful and good quality traditional Japanese. Our room with private toilet was spacious and quiet. Even with three mattresses I still found the bed hard but wanted to experience the traditional ryokan. I would recommend it for being near shops and many places of interest.
