  Well we booked this hotel mainly because we wanted to utilize the patio hot tub and when we arrived we were told pipes were frozen so we could not use it. Pretty bummed out but at least they refunded us for half the cost of the room because of that. Other than that it was a nice cozy room, used the fire place and relaxed. Would come again but will... hva folk sier » call ahead of time to make sure we can relax in the outdoor tub :) - It is away from other hotels/resorts in the middle of woods. Very refreshing. Nice design and very helpful staff. The hot snack and beverages are like god-sent when you come back after all the hard work on the slope!!

  the owner of the Hotel is a very nice, charming lady. She speaks basic English. She has corrected a reservation error on her own initiative. Perfect !! When I go again to Nagano (Hakuba), I will go to her Hotel. Happo One is perfect for beginners, intermediate and experts. It was well situated for the ski lift and you could ski back to the hotel. The hotel was tranquil.
