Charming B&B in the true sense, where the hosts are proud of the place they run, where home made products are served for breakfast and where one is welcomed in a warm and personal way.
Location is AAA.. interior is pretty stylish for originally very poor man's lodgings. One could not wish for more anywhere really..!

and original on the outside (being part of the Sassi di Matera), the

This is one of the best BB's we ever stayed. The room was very convenient, quiet and nicely decorated. The location is just perfect in the heart of Matera with a walking distance to all interesting places, but also 10 minutes walk to the

We loved everything about this place. The apartment itself was spacious and clean; the balcony, looking out over the sassi and the Duomo, was fabulous and perfect for an afternoon aperitivo. Fra Sassi is situated in a perfect spot with a fantastic view of the Sassi area of Matera. From the B&B walking the main areas of the Sassi is easy and accessable.
