  Charming B&B in the true sense, where the hosts are proud of the place they run, where home made products are served for breakfast and where one is welcomed in a warm and personal way. Location is AAA.. interior is pretty stylish for originally very poor man's lodgings. One could not wish for more anywhere really..!   Very hospitable hosts, very good accommodation across the street from their restaurant, where excellent breakfasts were served. It was a good experience to stay in the centre of Matera. Breakfast was served in a communal kitchen area which was also ava - This is one of the best BB's we ever stayed. The room was very convenient, quiet and nicely decorated. The location is just perfect in the heart of Matera with a walking distance to all interesting places, but also 10 minutes walk to the train station and to the airport bus. The owner is very nice and helpful. The breakfast is good and nicely served.

  Unser Aufenthalt in Matera war ein wirklich außergewöhnliches Erlebnis. Das B&B ist in höchstem Maße stilvoll eingerichtet (u.a. handbemalte Fließen im Bad). Der Blick von der Terrasse auf Matera ist atemberaubend. Das Frühstück war das beste, was wir jemals in einem B&B erlebt haben - alles, aber auch wirklich alles hausgemacht. Und Mario... was die leute sagen » als Gastgeber tut alles, um den Gästen seine Stadt und seine Region näherzubringen. Er organisiert die tollsten Ausflüge, die man teilweise ohne ihn - Das Hotel liegt zwar nicht direkt "in den Sassi", dafür hat man einen wunderschönen Blick auf Matera und ist sofort mittendrin. Wir wurden von Mario herzlich empfangen und erhielten gute Tipps für's Abendessen und Besichtigungen. Das Hotel ist neu renoviert, sehr sauber, geschmack-und stilvoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist ein Genuss - mit vielen selbstgemachten Köstlichkeiten. Wir waren mit dem Aufenthalt rundum zufrieden und würden jederzeit wiederkommen! Grazie Mario e Rosaria!!
