  The location is very good! It is located right inside the old village which is another tourist hotspot and a lot of good, traditional Hangzhou food with varying price range around. The staffs are very friendly and the room is clean. It is around 15 mins walk to Xi Hu. I will definitely stay here again if I go Hangzhou again! My parents like it ver... hva folk sier » y much too. - Excellent location. Located on a street next to a popular Hefang Walking Street. No problem shopping for local souvenirs and eating local food. McDonalds is less than 100m away. Very near to bus stops. Travel between airport and this hotel can be done via public bus, thus very economical.

  Beautiful location on the hillside. View from the balcony was really nice and peaceful. We enjoyed the stroll to West Lake thru wonderful scenery from the hostel. Staff were friendly and helpful but I don't think English is their strong suit (aside from the American Chinese owner).

  Banpinzi feels like a French country inn. In off-peak traffic, from West Lake it's a brief bus ride to your stop, then a five-minute walk down a forested road. The staff is young and friendly, the rooms may be cramped, but there's art on the walls and you hear chickens in the mornings. My room felt like a painting by Bonnard. The food is tasty and... hva folk sier » reasonably priced, though the breakfast is Western, not Chinese. Good plumbing, wi-fi, electricity, air-con. - The staff were excellent - very helpful and welcoming, as well as speaking a small amount of English. Quiet location.
