This apartment was great and we really felt at home here. It was very spacious, comfortable and quiet with all the amenities plus a fully equipped kitchen. It also had a pleasing view over the city. Satellite TV in English. The staff were helpful. It is in a great location next to the river. Up-market area and great for walking out. -

Lovely grand hotel 40 minutes outside Chengdu city. Enourmous very comfortable bed with plush linens. Loved that the bathroom opened up into the bedroom. The staff are faultless. They arranged our 'hold a baby panda' experience ahead of time with wonderful ease and efficiency - thank you Jessie! The room was suburb, large, clean and comfortable with a lovely view. It's a bit out of Chengdu- but if you are there for a panda cuddle and nothing else it's just perfectly located 5 minutes from the park with a free regular shuttle. Great hostel. The common room is nice and spacious, with a baby-foot and a pool game. The kids loved it ! The staff is friendly and helpful. The private rooms are very clean, and a good value for the money. Honestly, the Flip Flop guesthouse has everything a traveller might ask for: laundry, books, internet, informations about the town and the area, and a nice place to relax and to meet people.

I am a coffee drinker and I have to say that I was really happy to find real coffee at this hotel. Because coffee is not too popular in China, I was surprised and delighted to find good quality italian coffee. And the service was 24 hours, so this was just perfect for me.

We had a great stay at this hotel. From the first time we stepped into the building, we met Simon, the GM and he offered a brief introduction about the city, nearby tourist attractions, and the facilities provided by the hotel. We also found that the H stands for home and happy, and this is exactly how we felt in this hotel.
