The hotel/restaurant is family-run and everyone was very friendly and accommodating.The location is excellent for a quick connection to Brussels and beyond. Hotel is convenient to train station (2 min. walk) and city center (10 min. tram ride or 20 min. walk). Hotel owners are professional and friendly, and work hard to make guests comfortable and to orient them to the city sights. Rooms are clean, comfortable, updated, and spacious. Breakfast is good and plentiful. Friendly atmosphere. Neighborhood quieter than you'd expect given its proximity to train station, but there are plenty of restaurants and conveniences near-by. I'd gladly stay here agai

We loved Expo 13! Kitty and Didier were wonderful hosts and made our
stay in Gent a perfect experience. Their newly renovated B&B in a
beautiful art deco town house is really a lovely place. The rooms are
wonderful and the breakfasts gorgeous. Every detail is taken care of and
Didier is always there to help with any additional information you might
need (in any language). We initially planned to stay for two nights and
move on to Antwerp, but then fortunately were able to extended and used

Such a lovely place with a very friendly owner! We had a large apartment (stayed in 1-bedroom-apartment with no balcony or garden), everything was stylish and new and clean. building was fancy and the rooms are large. The hotel is situated in a
large mansion which used to be a number of things in the past and is
nicely transformed into a (mere) fifteen room accommodation. The king-
sizey bed was excellent and the bathroom was nice.
