Our stay at expo 13 was just what we needed for our stay in Ghent, it was close to the train station which meant our journey and moving around was very simple and straightforward. The room was warm and the bed very comfy for 2 tall adults. Amused by the layout of the room where the toilet and shower room were hidden behind bedroom wall, no discretion between couples Habits, ha ha Just get used to it. We had a kettle and nesspresso machine in the room with free herbal teas and coffee, brits take.
alle vurderinger » We loved Expo 13! Kitty and Didier were wonderful hosts and made our stay in Gent a perfect experience. Their newly renovated B&B in a beautiful art deco town house is really a lovely place. The rooms are wonderful and the breakfasts gorgeous. Every detail is taken care of and Didier is always there to help with any additional information you might need (in any language). We initially planned to stay for two nights and move on to Antwerp, but then fortunately were able to extended and used . Didier and Kitty did a superb job making us feel at home. The location was perfect, just on the outskirts of town right beside tram line and the train station. Breakfast included with great coffee. Beautiful decorated room with free standing bath absolutely stunning. Thank you so much you both made our short trip remorable. Hope to be back next year. Jennie & Justin. On arrival we were warmly greeted. The owners went out of their way to assist us with making a restaurant booking and giving us advice on the public transport system. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and well appointed - we even had coffee machine. Great chocolate shop across the road and short walk distance from the train, tram and bus. Very welcoming B&B.The reception by the owner was fantastic, talking about Ghent over a glass of wine. The room was superb with designs meeting, and the overall value of the stay is very high. We travelled by train, so the location on Clementinalaan was perfect. everything! great place, a real treat. letsbookhotel.com confirmed to us before leaving, that all rooms had balconies... Not true.... Not 1 room has a balcony. letsbookhotel.com need to remove this information as we were very disappointed to find this out upon arrival. Expo 13 is a B&B and not a hotel as stated in letsbookhotel.com advertising. I couldn't fault anything. Maybe a full length mirror in the wardrobe. It's a minor comment, but we would have appreciated a mirror in the bedroom. We had room 4 with a separate and very nice bathroom. That was not inconvenient. But the bathroom had the monopoly of the mirrors. parkng along the busy road was a challenge, but it did work out.
