  Kurt and Laurent were fabulous hosts and the apartment is where they lived while the renoveated the rest of their wonderful home, garden and B&B rooms. We had a large apartment (stayed in 1-bedroom-apartment with no balcony or garden), everything was stylish and new and clean. Breakfast was offered in owner's dining area which was cosy and lovely. Very delicious, too - with fresh strawberries. We'd go there back for sure!

  The hotel is an attractive, nicely restored mansion that is close to train station ( walk in 15 minutes) and the tram or bus to get to the old city is only a block away. Take tram 4 from the train station if you do not want to walk to the hotel. Get off at the 3rd stop then walk one block. After a day of walking, my wife was not up to walking to any local restaurants so he - The reception by the staff was very friendly and informative. The building was fancy and the rooms are large. The hotel is situated in a large mansion which used to be a number of things in the past and is nicely transformed into a (mere) fifteen room accommodation. The king- sizey bed was excellent and the bathroom was nice. We also had a great time in the City of Ghent, which we had a nice walk to (about 20-30 minutes) and returned from by tram.   From our initial booking to our arrival our contact with Dirk and his help in answering our travel query was very well answered. Dirk is a very welcoming and knowledgeable host. The apartment is accessed by lift and as the apartment is on the 3rd floor it has the best views. Dirk has supplied good travel information about Gent in the apartment and if you have any queries he is more than he - The studio was clean, spacious, and comfortable. It had everything, including candles for a candle-lit supper. Lovely view of the abbey and garden from the front windows and a small balcony on the back. Bus stop was a 2-minute walk. Great natural foods store less than a 10-minute walk. Our host, Dirk, was very accommodating and helpful. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it.
