  One of the most friendly staff what we met during our trip in Australia. From reception we got nice advice for other spot points in Rockhampton and a recommendation for there restaurant which one was a great advice. We had so excellent dinner there and lovely conversation with the waitress. - Our unit was quiet despite being close to the major hi... hva folk sier » ghway of the A1. We had some inconsiderate fellow travellers who came in after midnight and proceeded to "rock on". At 12.45 we called the manager who responded with apologies and immediately dealt with the situation.

  Plenty of parking, easy access, we stayed in one of the large rooms which was very comfy, and no intrusive traffic noise. No complaints about anything. Staff were friendly, Steve was very helpful.   The friendly relaxed atmosphere and such helpful members of staff! The restaurants food was delicious and very well priced. Only 4 beds per dorm room and as not peak season the lodge spread us out so we had rooms to ourselves.   Our room was large and beautifully clean. The breakfast was excellent (we could have had cooked if we had wanted it) and the Manager, Geoff, was friendly and efficient. - While staying at Gladstone palms we found the motor in to be very clean with a great shower and a comfortable bed. Reception was very helpful and courteous.
