  The staff were very friendly and were more than happy to hold our bags until we flew out later that day. They also provided us with a map with things to do while staying in Canberra. The room had everything we needed on our budget and was close to the event which we travelled to be a part of. Will return again a 3rd time - Compact, clean, one-bedroom apartment with all the amenities - dishwasher, washing-machine, coffee maker (pods provided). Excellent location so close to Manuka. Despite the fact that our apartment was around the corner from the main building, room service was available (although we didn't try it). Extras included abundant parking, and a lovely outside grassed area. The hotel also offers gym usage for a fee at Rydges just down the road.

  Powerful Hot Shower. It's amazing that it is somewhat a rarity amongst Australian hotel / motel in this price range.(or the nxt one up, sometimes) We came back v late on the second day, informed the reception and we had a late check-out. The hardware in this hotel maybe a lil dated, but it is the software(service+attitude) that will keep - We were very happy with our stay, the staff on the front desk were just lovely as were all staff we had contact with. We ate in the restaurant both nights and were very happy with service food and price! Our complimentary breakfasts were just the icing on a lovely stay, thank you very much, we will be back and will recommend your hotel to others.

  The staff were lovely and extremely helpful. The facilities are basic, but it still has everything you need. It's still really close to Canberra, even though its in Watson.   The motel was centrally located. We were greeted by a lovely man. The room was large with a fridge, a microwave and tea and coffe making facilities. Even though the furniture is old and tired it was comfortable. We were able to save money by buying frozen meals for dinner and having cereal for breakfast. They have a large and clean room, cheap price and close to city. I will stay same room when I trip to Canberra next time again. Thanks to all the staff.

  I still think accommodation in the ACT is ridiculously expensive and the Lodge was the cheapest I could find. The shared showers/toilet is a bit o a pain but everything was immaculate and I didn't have to wait to use any of the facilities. The staff was terrific and very accommodating. All the facilities were very clean. The room was comfortable and being able to cook in the kitchen was very handy. The free breakfast is also very good. An excellent option if you're on a budget or an extended stay in Canberra. It's location close to Kingston shops is great. It's also easy to get into the city and a short walk to the lake.

  This is the best hostel i have ever stayed in.. Super clean, Super quiet and Super friendly!.. nothing you can fault about it at all! - I was able to get a second pillow to sleep better at night for just $5.
