  The Park Hyatt is the best hotel in Canberra -but is probably the most expensive! It is ideal for conservative people who appreciate the Art Deco design the history - and easy proximity to key attractions (old Parliament House, national gallery, portrait gallery). - We loved the building and the ambience of the hotel, especially the art deco feat... hva folk sier » ures. We particularly enjoyed the afternoon tea and its setting. The rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms spacious and luxurious. Staying at the Park Hyatt was a real treat.

  The apartments are located on very well ept grounds and nice and private extremely pleasant indeed. the paratmetnitself was well appointed had wahing machine and dryer full kitchen nice iittle balcony with table and chairs overal it was very pleasant indeed. More than advising go here and there, she arrnaged for a printed step by step directions and - Great location, close to Canberra main attractions (Old and New Parliament House; National Gallery; National Library; Lake Burley Griffin). Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious apartment. Quiet and comfortable. Homely feel. Very close to a precinct with good restaurants, bar, supermarket etc. Felt like a place one could stay for two weeks and have a real holiday!

  The staff were exceptional. I had arrived in Canberra around 8am. I called into the Mantra at 10am asking if we could get an early check in. We had booked 2 rooms so I asked if we could be near each other. Not only did we get an early check of 12.30pm but also got a free upgrade with rooms side by side. We particularly appreciated that the room had crockery and cutlery and a decent table with two chairs, in addition to tea and coffee-making facilities. This made it very comfortable to have breakfast in the room with things we bought from a supermarket the day before. Excellent bathroom, too.

Flat screen televisions in bedroom and lounge, reverse cycle air conditioner in lounge. Washing machine in bathroom, no dryer but a drying rack supplied. Indoor pool and nice courtyard area with barbecue which we did - I was looking for a quiet location without a hefty price tag with easy access to the city. Parklands Apartments delivered on all counts.The rooms were clean, very quiet inside and well appointed. The swimming pool, gym and underground parking a special bonus. A walk to Dickson shops and cafes, no need to drive. I would recommend without hesitation.

  When leaving the hotel I thought that the accommodation fee had already been charged to my credit card but was told that it not how letsbookhotel.com works, which I know is not the case, so I hope I haven't been charged twice. Also they tried to charge me for drinks in the restaurant which I hadn't had. - Location was perfect for two older female... hva folk sier » friends who wanted to see the Turner Exhibition, and also do a lot of walking to explore the National Capital. We were delighted with the friendly and efficient staff, and felt very much "at home" during our short visit.
