  this hotel was in a great location, close enough to walk to city centre, yet far enough away from city noise. Very clean rooms. Receptionist kindly gave us a key to put our bags in room and freshen up even though our room was not quite ready. - The breakfasts were excellent.   I found them supportive, informative, flexible and willing to go that extra mile to help out. I also found the food in the restaurant of an unusually high standard and a perfect and warming way to end my day after intense and pressured days to achieve things necessary to set up my new life in Tasmania before I was due to return to the mainland. Th... hva folk sier » ey helped me find local supermarkets, white goods stores, furniture etc. They were friendly and fun. - The room I was allotted was a pleasant surprise in that it was spacious, recently updated, tidy, clean and had a flat panel TV / DVD and all the usual appliances. The hot water was nearly instant. There was a separate area for relaxing / having breakfast. The poached eggs & bacon I had was better that most an very well presented. Parking was not a problem. I'm told by locals that the onsight restaurant is well regarded.
