We loved the apartments, they were very spacious and luxourious! Me (25) and my partner (29) were travelling with his parents (both in 50s) and we all loved the apartments. We hada pool view room which was perfect for us as it overlooked the marina bay also! Akama is only a short 5 min walk to the bay which was really convernient! Regina the recep

The space afforded in the apartment was a pleasant surpise, the level of cleanliness I havent seen for a while and the close location to the Marina was ideal. I was told it wasnt the touristy part of town which suited us very well. Staff were brilliant too and were happy to pass on insider knowledge. I was sad to leave!

* We liked the position of the hotel room on the ground floor with a
walk out to the pool
* I loved my bedroom and ensuite, my mum had the other bedroom. my bed was very comfortable
* we loved the value and the attitude of the guys at Pier Resort reception, who managed to get us our requested second night for a steal compared to the normal rate.

These apartments are quite modern and fully equipped to meet the demands
of the most difficult guests (ours had a washing machine, a dish washer,
a tumble drier, a huge shower, a jacuzzi, two tv sets, free internet
access, a fully-equipped kitchen, parking space, an adapter for foreign
plugs, etc.). The view was gorgeous, and it's only a short walk to
the pier and the marina.

We loved our time at the Grand Mercure. Staff are friendly and very down to earth. The facilities are great we spent more time in the pool then we did at the beach. The location is awesome you can smell the beach and plenty of restaurants to go to. I would rate this place very highly. -

Only 5 years old, so a very modern and Nice looking place with a very good pool. Meals were good with a buffet breakfast. The car park is under the building. We had a very enjoyable stay local to the marina for whale watching. -
