  Maybe not 5 star, but definitely the best motel we stayed at in a 2 weeks visit to Tasmania. Modern furnishings - had everything. View of sea as well. Close to Spirit of Tasmania. - Quiet location, with friendly staff, and great restaurant, reasonably priced. Meals were excellent Large bedroom with waterfront views.   Was impressed with fact that the room and facilities had all and more than many higher priced establishments. Very good indeed for "short stay" (business people?) needing to meet the boat or tourists arriving or leaving on the boat. - The excellent service , we were upgraded to an executive suite when our tv wasnt workng .the mngr & the son ... hva folk sier » of a policeman couldnt do enough for us . {sorry I cant recall his name .
