  The room was comfortable and what you would expect for a motel. We did like the fact that the family unit had a separate bedroom at the back to offer more privacy. - I liked everything about sunrise the staff were incredibly helpful even when we asked about local footy games they gave us info very nice place. Will be back

  I really enjoyed the overall comfort of the hotel and that everything was at your fingertips. As I was on my own my priorities were security, comfort, a restaurant and room service options. These were all very well catered for as well as the hotel being very central in terms of shopping and night venues etc. - We found the Gateway Hotel an excell... hva folk sier » ent place to stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the room, particularly the bathroom. Absolutely fantastic value for money.

  Maybe not 5 star, but definitely the best motel we stayed at in a 2 weeks visit to Tasmania. Modern furnishings - had everything. View of sea as well. Close to Spirit of Tasmania. - Quiet location, with friendly staff, and great restaurant, reasonably priced. Meals were excellent Large bedroom with waterfront views.
