  Great location. Staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities were also great and I like that the place was surrounded with lots of trees and gardens so that staying there was very relaxing and laid back - very similar to the Darwin vibe. Close to city centre & local buses. Friendly & helpful staff willing to be helpful with our later departure. Stored our luggage whilst we were on trip.   Clean, comfortable room, nice big comfortable bed, friendly, helpful staff. Not too far from city centre but having a car is useful as bus service infrequent. Air- conditioner worked well to keep the room cool.   Melaluca on Mitchell is located in the heart of Darwin and is right across from Coles. It's surrounded by great pubs and restaurants. I booked a double bed accessible room with my own ensuite and the room was great value for money and fully accessible. I also loved that the aircon was so loud it blocked out most of the noise! Rely enjoyed my stay at Melaleuca, I was travelling along and found it easy to make friends to have fun with. They have cleaners that work everyday, so bathroom is clean and the bedroom bins are always changed. The mess comes from other guests

  Staff where very friendly and great atmosphere, not noisy atall considering location and great value for money - My room was quiet and cool. The pool was great The layout gave many options for places to relax etc.
