  The room is a great size. The view from the 12th floor was amazing. The kitchen was small but had all the components to self cater. The breakfast suplied had toast with butter and condiments plus cereal and milk with fruit and juice.The hotel is within pleasant walking distance through Hyde park to the Museum, St Mary's Cathedral, the Art Gallery,... hva folk sier » China Town and city shopping. Buses and trains only footsteps away. We were given a late checkout 11am on request. The parking was tight but adequate - Great location. If you want to get the airport train and have suitcases then consider getting off at St James instead of Museum station if you don't want to lug cases up loads of steps. St James station is not far and has a lift. We had a very large, modern, comfortable family room with qs bed, two singles and a small lounge, dining table & chairs. The beds were really comfortable and the decor lovely. The breakfast provided was basic but all we needed.

I have stayed there three times this year and plan to stay there again in the New Year and have recommended to my friends travelling with me in March.   The very responsive nature of the staff. The purpose of our stay was my partner was having surgery at St Vincent's and we needed somewhere closeby - we'd stayed there before (2008 & 2009). The bed was a little hard but housekeeping changed the mattress!! We needed a late check out on day of departure and this was handled expeditiously. Love the new renovations. - We were impressed with the staff and also by giving directions to public transport and recommendations for restaurants and sight-seeing.
