  The room was charming, comforatble, and luxurious, in a separate 8 unit building at the rear of the complex, called the Mill House. It came with everything from a Keurig coffee maker to plush white bathrobes to be used after you hop out of the Jacuzzi tub, and a nice wide flat scree TV. It was finally a facility that had great lighting in the bath... wat mensen zeggen » room so I could shave and my wife could apply her make-up. The bed was very comfortable, with nice linens. Although we didn't have the time to make us - We have stayed at the GMI many times over the past ten years and have never failed to be pleased. The staff are friendly, particularly Jane at breakfast who is our GMI hero - our kids have grown up looking forward to seeing her cheery face. She always remembers us, our dogs, our stories. It's just like home from home and it's immaculately taken care of. We love our visits and are already working on our next one.

We ate at Charlie B's - and the food was fresh and top quality and reasonably priced. - Our room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable.   Absolutely beautiful! We can not wait to go again in the winter. All of the staff were very friendly & courteous. The views are breathtaking. The rooms were very comfortable with silky feeling sheets. The pool area was plenty big with room for kids & the adults along with a nice bar area to get food & beverages. The kids loved the area... wat mensen zeggen » with the 4 square, shuffleboard,& large chess. - We loved our room. There was a staff member named Ken who grew up in the same area of CT as us. The town of Stowe looked like something out of a movie.

  The lake is wonderful. We payed for a deluxe water view since I had read reviews and they all agreed that they were wonderful and very very large. We were placed in a fair sized room with a view of a rooftop and a bit of lake. We complained and were moved to a gigantic room with a full lake view.
