  The location cannot be beat close to the beaches market and shops. It was like living in a botanical garden beautiful plants flowers and amazing pool. Walking down the pathway from the lobby to the beach was like walking thru a sweet little jungle ... I loved it! The Kona Islander Inn is like a gem in the middle of town. I will stay there again a... wat mensen zeggen » nd will recommend this to my family and friends. - The room quality ranges from 1 star to 5 stars, each with increasing price. It would be helpful if this were advertised on letsbookhotel.com. Luckily the hotel had a better room available than the one star unit we first saw.

  We loved the proximity to both Hilo & Volcano. It was a great spot to begin our daily adventures from. The quiet surrounds were beautiful & private. The hot tub was an added bonus we finally managed to enjoy on our last night. The facilities were of a much higher standard than expected. The inside was beautifully designed and thoughtfully outfitted. A great place to come 'home' to after a long day of sightseeing or hiking or whatever.
