Everything was very homely and comfortable and the location great for walking into hilo town itself for a beer and for exploring the sites of the big island. Oh and the breakfast is great too. - Perfect place, we loved it here. Patricia has a lovely home and she rents out rooms to guests. So this is more a homestay than a hotel. Everything was clean and cosy, and breakfast was definitely the best we had in Hawaii!!! Take a close look at the address and a map before you go though, because there is no sign on the house.

  Absolutely beautiful house - never seen anything like that for rent - it's been designed, built and decorated for a personal use, with great taste and stylish details. Great location - only a few minutes to volcano visitors center, 40 min drive from Hilo airport. Tropical rainforest with orchids starts right in the backyard!
