  Really it is a familiar environment. It is close to every important place and the service was very good. Specially the gentleman that was security at night, he always help me to get my parking for disables because my husband is visually impair. No matter at what time I get to the hotel he moved the cars so I can park close to the entrance. Thanks... wat mensen zeggen » again - A lovely place to stay. Nicely designed and clean and friendly. Stop looking, you won't find a better hotel for the money. The food was fantastic as well. Close to airport, centrally located for attractions. Don't miss the rain forest just outside of town and car rental is very affordable in San Juan.

  I liked the unintentional retro-funky look to the property. It was neat in so many ways....cool pool, restaurant, greenery, etc. The desk personnel were both greate. - The staff was really nice, the facilities were very nice too, I looked the look and decoration of the place. It's a perfect spot to have a local feel of Puerto Rico.

  The Hotel Plaza De Armas was the perfect location for exploring Old San Juan! The free trolley stops right at the door and the cruise and ferry docks are an easy walk away. There are many restaurants close by and the streets are safe and interesting for wandering. The building is 200 years old, and the elevator dates from the 1930's so I would des... wat mensen zeggen » cribe the hotel as "quirky". We stayed in a "king suite" on the front of the hotel with two balconies overlooking the plaza and you could see the harb - Nice, OLD, OLD hotel in the heart of Old San Juan. Within walking distance to many of the things to see and a fairly short taxi ride to the airport and cruise port for Celebrity Cruises. Other cruise terminals are even closer. The hotel had no special attractions other than old world charm, good location and GREAT staff. Luis Garzon was especially helpful with directions, restaurants, tour trolleys and using the antiquated elevator -- when it worked. When it broke down, hotel staff was quick

  The owner was very friendly and informative. He waited up until 1am for us to checkin, when our flight was delayed, and always had advice and suggestions on where to go. He also provided us with space for bikes. Wifi worked great. The shower and air con both worked very well. The beds were comfortable. Little stores and Old San Juan is only 5 miles away. cute little hotel that is convenient! I would definitely stay here again.
