Location was excellent... On 51st St. between 5th and 6th Ave. Right across from Radio City Musical Hall, and the Rockefeller Plaza/Center, plus the Subway station was around the corner.
The room was a bit small, but comfortable enough for 3 (2 adults & one kid). The small fridge and microwave were a plus! The lobby is small compare to other big hotels, but it was quiet. The staff was always nice and helpful. I will stay there again!

The staff are fabulous, very friendly, professional, cannot do more to help. The pool is great - at times (weekend afternoons when the sun is out) it is quite a "scene" which might annoy someone looking to relax but it is what it is (and at other times it is very relaxing). The restaurants are very good and the rooftop bar/club PHD is great on a Saturday (although be aware that it is run separately from the hotel so after 11 or so, being a hotel guest does not guarantee access). We arrived at the hotel about 3 hours before check-in to drop off our
bags but to our surprisement, our room was avaliable and we even got an
upgrade because someone cancelled! The room was small - as any hotel
room is in nyc but I could tell right away it was very clean (hard to
find in nyc). There was no view but for the price (approx.

Breakfast - we saw many opinions about very poor breakfast here. In
comparison with other hotels|motels we stayed in during our road
trip this one was from the better ones. Missing fruit, vegetables
etc, but you could choose hot and cold etc. Breakfasts are generally
terrible in usa motels a 3-star hotels. W Based on reviews we
expected worse one here.

I find the Blakely to be centrally located for all activities in Manhattan. The staff is friendly and accomodating. The rooms are spacious enough. I love the area in the room where you have Emeril Kerik coffee and the Kerik coffee maker.

De Plek is echt goed, zeer centraal. Kamers zijn netjes en het personeel vriendelijk! - Het is heel prettig om zo dicht in het centrum te zitten zonder dat je in het hotel merkt dat je midden in de drukte zit (geen lawaai e.d.) En het personeel was zeer dienstverlenend en vriendelijk. Het had iets gezelligs.
