  The hotel has a delightful old world charm in the perfect location next to the Plaza. Perfect even during significant snow since everything is within walking distance. The fireplaces are perfect for reading a book while enjoying a drink and some guacamole and chips. The newly refurbished rooms are a good size and very comfortable. I have stayed here several times during the years and find the location couldn't be better. - We were warmly greeted at check in. We were upgraded to a beautiful suite with complimentary breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bed and bedding was extremely comfortable. Food was delicious. The manager Rebecca was extremely warm and friendly. We were very impressed with her. The rooms were very clean and housekeeping did a great job. The location was the best. We were pleased with our stay.

  The staff were incredibly nice and welcoming. This is a relaxed place-- no formalities and easy going. This said, the staff were always very responsive to any need that arose. Great that our room was SO large, with kitchen facilities and 2 nice TVs. We normally do not spend much time in hotel rooms when we travel, but our 19-year old came down wit... wat mensen zeggen » h a terrible throat infection during our trip and we were so happy that he had a comfortable separate space to rest in--and TV to watch in his space. - Las Palomas was by far one of the best hotel/inn experiences I've ever had. We arrived at the tail end of a long road trip throug the Southwest, and were greeted with warm cookies and cappuccinos in a gorgeous, cozy, relaxed lobby. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. The "room" was a suite complete with a full kitchen, entry way, Spanish style courtyard, and fireplace with a supply of firewood and firestarters.   Very nice setting. Had a big suite with two rooms - ideal for three travellers (no couples). WiFi was acting up a wee bit when trying to reconnect the tablet, but overall was ok.   We loved EVERYTHING about the Parq Central!! Beautifully restored art deco buidling, spacious and comfortable rooms, free wifi throuout the building, free parking, knowledgeable and gracious reception desk staff, clean, conveniently located, complimentary shuttle service, convenient computers and printer for guests, morning coffee stations right o... wat mensen zeggen » utside your guestroom, great breakfast, 5 star all around. I wrote a thank you letter to the manager and staff before leaving-- and I DID hate to leav - The manager gave us a tour of the hotel and showed us to our room. He explained everything. Times for breakfast, shuttle to the shopping area in old Albuquerque etc. He was great and so was the room. Our shuttle driver gave us recommendations for dinner and pointed out some places to visit. We enjoyed our one night in Albuquerque. We had to cut our visit short by 1 day at the last minute. We wished we could have stayed longer.

This is excellent quality at amazingly competitive price. Best we've stayed in yet by far during four weeks of travelling thru six states.
