The manager gave us a tour of the hotel and showed us to our room. He
explained everything. Times for breakfast, shuttle to the shopping
area in old Albuquerque etc. He was great and so was the room. Our
shuttle driver gave us recommendations for dinner and pointed out some
places to visit. We enjoyed our one night in Albuquerque. We had to
cut our visit short by 1 day at the last minute. We wished we could
have stayed longer.

The people and facilities at Buffalo Thunder were great!!!!!! The room we had was for royalty. My husband and I would like to come back in June for his birthday. Afternoon front desk staff went out of her way to accomadate all our requests. She was amazing and fast. We requested a room change (handicap) and we were moved within 10. I had no complaints whatsoever. The room was very nice and clean. The
staff were all polite and efficient. I don't understand some of the
complaints I've seen here. Maybe just a bunch of babies. One person
complained that the hotel/casino are way out in the middle of
nowhere. Seriously? Nobody forced you to stay there. Some Indian tribes
don't have much of a choice as to where the hotel/casino can be
located since the land was set aside for them by the us government. I
would stay there again. 4

This is without any doubt a very good and luxurious hotel. Highly recommended. Great location, great staff, great breakfast, great room. What more to ask for you may think: The hotel provided two complimentary oxygen treatments per day to treat our altitude sickness, and it really helped. -

Frankly, when I first checked in, the room overlooked the parking lot.
It was my 28 wedding anniversary trip and I felt I wanted a more

Our experience at the Inn was exceptional. The setting
in which the Inn is built and maintained is beautiful: the lake, the hills and trees, the walking trails brought a sense of contentment.
The facilities are first-rate.
The food is delicious and abundant--three buffets with amazing choices!?! We celebrated my Bride's birth- day on the 29th at Wendell's

Two things:
#1 - I had inadvertently screwed up the reservation date! The young man tending the counter got it all straightened out - no prob.
#2 - Next morning I was looking for ideas of what to do with our afternoon in ALB - he suggested the zoo and printed out maps to show us how to get there. Great service! -
It was clean and it was quiet.
