  Both my son and I had a wonderful stay at The Robert Treat Hotel. I use to live in Newark many years ago and have been in Florida for over 20 years so it was absolutely fantastic to stay at this hotel which i knew of since I was a little girl. In addition, we got a chance to walk to Ironbound section and have dinner one evening. Convenience all around. - The staff was beyond helpful!! Gave us great advice on the best ways to get around, there was a free shuttle to Newark penn that picked us up for free at almost 2 am, the guards on the night shift went out of their way to show us the roof patio ( under their supervision!!!) even though it was about to be locked up for the night, and the ladies who set out the breakfast meal were so kind- no weird looks for my strange food requests and pajama clad self, and without even asking they helped me car

Certainly best place to stay if you need to be close to Newark Airport.   Easy acess to FDU, I was specifically their because it was the nearest hotel to the school. The food was great. rom service was excellent. The ladies were friendly and very helpful. The ones who cleaned 1429. was very polite and helpful. Our stay was great. when we arrived at 2am on Saturday, May 18th, it was just great to shower, and rest. Besides that absolutely no complains.

After hours of delay at the airport, I called 1 hour after the cancellation deadline to cancel my stay as I didn't think I would make it in.
