Hotel was right downtown on the water front and walking distance from most anything downtown. point fast drinks I personally love how they have a cvs ,a cafe with
mcdonalds,subway,burger king and a few others it sucks they were not all
open (zoups and a few others) but it was well worth the money I will
book here every year!

I love the hospitality, the hotel design, it was very clean and quiet. The breakfast had plenty of options, and I like the location. The staff there were very friendly and personable. -

Deb was the night manager. We had talked to her the night before so she
could charge the room to my husband's credit card, as he was not
accompanying me on the trip. When I arrived, she greeted me warmly...and
the paperwork had already been completed. I appreciated the ease of
checking in. -

It was clear that the hotel was being upgraded and we were happy that our rooms were those already completed. The furnishings were new, carpet and bedding was new, and the rooms were very clean. I loved how friendly the staff was! We were staying at the hotel for a wedding & they were so helpful with anything we needed. The suites were clean and spacious, and the bed was super comfy! It was right by the highway, which was very convenient.

The accommodations were clean, roomy and as advertised. It was quiet for
the most part. Could hear some door slamming in the A.M. but thats

During our stay, we ended up going to The Lounge. Heather, the manager, did a fantastic job! She made sure we always had what we needed and was very professional and very nice. My husband and I both were very impressed with her and said if we ever needed to stay at a hotel in Grand Rapids again, we would stay at this hotel. -

Staff went out of their way to assist us with some unexpected needs and were very accommodating with changes that made things easier for us. I loved the proximity to the downtown area and the fact that there is a restuarant nearby was a bonus. The frontdesk personnel was very knowledgeable about the various neighborhoods/suburbs in Detroit and provided great service as well. The Shuttle service was another added bonus. I do plan to visit again and will definitely stay there.
