  One of the Manager's, Miss Gina Clay went above and beyond in making sure I had the assistance I needed while at the hotel. The afternoon High Tea was one of the main reason's I chose the hotel and was not disappointed. Miss Clay did not spare any expense in making it a wonderful afternoon . The server in the dining room even gave me a great recipe since we discovered we both - Just married the weekend before, my wife and I planned a "staycation" mini-honeymoon, checked in late and were immediately upgraded to a magnificent 1 bedroom suite by Khadija at the front desk. It was larger than our apartment at home! We enjoyed a huge soaking tub and a magnificent view of the harbor, along with our own dining room!   The owner was friendly and made us comfortable with our stay ! Rooms were always clean ! Hot water heater broke and owner bought a brand new one for her guests to have a great cozy stay !!! Had a beautiful clean pool and close walk to the beach ! - I liked the safety of the hotel. It was clean and neat.   Our daughter lives down the road from this hotel and we take the grandkids there for a staycation. There are quite a few hotels in the area, but we chose this one because it is clean, well appointed and has an indoor pool and a pretty good breakfast bar. - very clean, beds slept well, mattresses had bed bug covers & cont. breakfast.

  The staff were great & our 5th floor maid, Ruth, was very friendly & professional. No smoking rooms, but, there are ash trays provided outside on every balcony for you. I had compared prices on other web site - This hotel has an excellent location close to the beach and boardwalk. It is on the north side of the boardwalk, so it is quiet and away from the main part of it, which is nice (especially at night). Staff was very friendly. Hotel has some wear and tear (it is old, like most hotels in oc) but overall clean. We didn't spend a lot if time in our room anyway. The size of the room (we had two double beds only) was average. I got an excellent discounted price, making the hotel an excellent value wit
