Very nice hotel. Our room was a king suite with a small private deck off
the bedroom, spacious living area. Very clean and it didn't smell
like a hotel usually does which was a bonus. The hotel was very nicely
decorated for the season. Parking garage was nice as it was cold when we
left and we didn't have to be outside long. Staff very friendly an

We had a king suite. Nice!! Large livingroom, door between living room
and bedroom.. Nice to be allowed to smoke on the balcony. Good decor,
esp. Paint colors. Glass drink glasses and wine glasses! (Not plastic)

"ogunquit as destination" you might want to include
antiquing.....tho' that might come under "shopping"

The location was excellent and so very beautiful. Loved the Marginal Way
walk watching the sun come up and all the beautiful rocks and waves.
Also loved so much the huge beach at low tide where we could walk for
miles. The town is wonderful! Glad that we went off season, too. Could
enjoy our walks in town and gift shopping without crowds. Wonderfu

A bit more pricey than what we are used to, but definitely a very nice, clean atmosphere. Loved the fact that the duvet covers were washed for each new guest, that was priceless! -

My wife and I have stayed at the Samoset Resort a number of times and the staff has always been accommodating and extremely friendly. Meals in the restaurant are excellent and the ambiance (both in the restaurant and in the hotel) couldn't be better - summer or winter. -

The hotel was just gorgeous, everything was done so tastefully and with great style.
The staff was welcoming and helpful in every way, valet parking service was excellent.
Breakfast was bountiful and offered many great choices.
Our room was huge and had wonderful views of Casco Bay; the beds were firm and comfortable, the appointments excellent.

Very helpful staff-especially liked the ability to use the services of
the hotel van to go anywhere in Portland we needed to, My wife is
handicapped, so this was very advantgeous and also because only parking
is by valet. Very central to excellent restaurants like Hugo's and
Eventide. Also, excellent harbor views and close to harbor walking
trails. Breakfast buffet included in room price was outstanding.

I really like how friendly and helpful the staff is. Fast check in, indeed they have my room key ready when I got to the hotel, almost like just waiting for me. Room is big and comfortable. -

The Inn was very comfortable and cozy. The staff was very friendly and attentive, especially Wayne at the front desk. He made us feel welcome immediately. The morning breakfast was great, and especially loved the cookies brought to our room every evening. It was a very relaxing stay, and would definitely stay there in the future. -

A completely awesome experience. The room was enormous, with a huge bathroom. There is also a theater room (great for watching football games), multiple lounges, and an incredible reading nook on the third floor. The nightly rate might appear expensive, but this is actually a good value. -

The beach was great! Loved that they provided beach chairs, so we didn't have to lug ours around. The room was spacious and had more than we expected. We saved money by buying a few groceries and using the grills they provided and the stove and fridge was great to have. The rooms were immaculate, staff was awesome, and always ready to help. Price

Pet Friendly. Best room I have ever had with a dog.. exit door from our room onto a wonderful patio and very nice large grassy area for the dog to run. Especially nice at 6am when the dog just wants to go out to pee. Also across the street is a mall so if you forgot anything its right there. -
