  I was in Maine for a service for my dad who'd passed away. The sound of the waves crashing rhythmically on the shore was very soothing for me. I appreciate that the Anchorage is open year 'round and has someone at the desk 24-7 even in winter. Also that your off-season rates are reasonable. Thank you!   We were expecting a cold breakfast which was included in our room rate. Very pleased and pleasantly surprised with hot selection and they were tasty. Staff was very helpful and recommented a very nice restaurnt. - The staff was very friendly and pleasant to deal with. Easy check in and check out. Price was excellent for the room.
