The staff was awesome at every level. The landscaping was so, so pretty.
Having the pool and hot tub right on the water made it even more
relaxing. The hotel has it's on oceanfront so it's easy to walk
on the water and pick up stones and see crabs any time. Great food, too. -

Compared to other accommodations in Portland this place was reasonably priced. Our room was large, comfortable and nicely furnished. Very friendly, accommodating staff. the room was quite comfortable, but a little too close to the front desk, the hub of activity, but in all fairness I did request a room close to the exit as my husband is handicapped. I liked the location, the fact it was pet frieindly - I wish I had brought my dog. I loved having hot coffee available 24/7. Was a great place to stay in Portland! Wouldn't hesistate to stay again!

We were a party of 2 couples with 2 rooms. When we checked in, we were
told that they ran out of rooms with double queen beds, so both rooms
were upgraded to suites at no extra charge. We certainly got off to a

Stayed at the Atlantic Oceanside's downtown apartment in Bar Harbor, The Song of the Sea. It was perfect! Centrally located downtown with a beautiful view of the harbor and Bar Island, it was perfect for our family of 5. 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen and living area was great and the washer and dryer was a added bonus. Decorated nicely, very clean and the parking spot two blocks away was great. Will only stay there on our next visit to the wonderful Bar Harbor/Acadia area!

The hotel was just gorgeous, everything was done so tastefully and with great style.
The staff was welcoming and helpful in every way, valet parking service was excellent.
Breakfast was bountiful and offered many great choices.
Our room was huge and had wonderful views of Casco Bay; the beds were firm and comfortable, the appointments excellent.

Very helpful staff-especially liked the ability to use the services of
the hotel van to go anywhere in Portland we needed to, My wife is
handicapped, so this was very advantgeous and also because only parking
is by valet. Very central to excellent restaurants like Hugo's and
Eventide. Also, excellent harbor views and close to harbor walking
trails. Breakfast buffet included in room price was outstanding.

Rooms were clean and staff were friendly. We enjoyed the pool and the few minutes we were able to get into the hot tub. I would like to suggest that you ask folks to limit their time in the hot tub to 15 minutes unless no one is waiting to enjoy it as well.

The whole experience was very good. The room was quiet and the courtyard view was a plus.
The beds were very comfortable with soft sheets and cozy comforter. Flat screen TV to watch the World Series.

Took advantage of the pool and spa - exercise facilities.
Breakfast was wonderful (did eat by the fireplace) and every staff person was so accommodating and friendly.
We needed the Customer Service as we had left something in the room.

The staff was so accommodating and kind. We had excellent advice from
Bob, the shuttle driver, for dinners and things to do for three woman on
the town. He never steered us wrong. The front desk helped us with
driving directions to Boston. That made our day trip so easy. The lobby
breakfast had a little of everything. We stuck to yogurt, granola,

fruit, but there were plently of other options. We loved the coffee and
tea bar to fill up with before our morning excursions. -
The hotel was well situated for all tourist attractions. The rooms were
comfortable and clean. Breakfast was included in our rate and was tasty.
Parking was available in the parking garage next door for $12 per night
which we felt was reasonable. There was also a shuttle bus available to
collect people from restaurants in Portland- we did not use this but
would be useful in bad weather
