  The staff was the first impression of Gaslamp Plaza suites and was definitely a great one. Walking into the room I expected an average looking room with average looking furniture and found myself in a luxury suite. The large windows overlooking downtown, the quilts on the bed and expensive looking couch and love seat and bathroom design was out of... wat mensen zeggen » my expectation. This hotel by far is my favorite and for the price I paid for made me want to return and I will. - - Despite limited staff, manager on duty works very hard to meet your needs; - Two separate rooms (in one suite) with two full baths and separated by a hallway; - Older hotel but they use it well for a classic look and appeal; - Two large tv screens; - Close to everything on busy and popular 5th Ave. - View of the city from the rooftop (for a.m. breakfast) - Comfortable beds - Access to hot water without waiting for minutes - Overall value
