  Very friendly staff.. Quick and friendly check in. Restaurant staff particularly helpful and nothing was a bother for them. We had cabin beside the creek which was just wonderful.. Balcony onto riverbank plus mountain views.. Clean cabin and enough room to move around in comfort. Very convenient to cabins and with early start/late closing options. Small rooms and no tv but that's ok. The noise of bubbling river just outside was a pleasant distraction from the need for tv!!

  This lodge has the best view of Mt McKinly from its back overlooking porch. When you check in ask for a room with a view. There are hiking trails. You can sometimes see Moose right outside. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Its right out side of Talkeetna, so you can go to that neat city easily. - We had my daughters wedding there. Not too far away from a Safeway/grocery store and downtown. Lovely drive to the site from other areas of Alaska.   Location and view were unbelievable! All staff were very helpful and friendly. Warnings of bear activity all over the lodge were appreciated. Food in the hotel's Aspenglow Restaurant was incredibly good, and a value, considering this is the interior of Alaska. Also, by Alaska standards, the room rate was a bargain.   It was a great cabin. It had the feeling of camping, but felt safe and secure and not ate alive by mosquito's. Very peaceful, we really enjoyed our stay. - Isolated but presented excellent value for money Excellent restaurant with drinks available- reasonable sized portions.
