  Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Wonderfully spacious with a great view of the river. The staff was friendly and ever so helpful with allowing us to store our luggage after checkout and before our departure. The information on the area was easily available for all the restaurants in the area and the different sight seeing tours. The continental breakfast was just right and was even able to wash a load of laun - People in Alaska were very friendly, but here was awesome! We stayed in May 2013. The best room we had in our trip. We felt like home, (even better!). I still remember the chocolate muffins. Thanks a lot for a piece of peace in a crazy and 24 hour round clock trip in Alaska.

  This lodge has the best view of Mt McKinly from its back overlooking porch. When you check in ask for a room with a view. There are hiking trails. You can sometimes see Moose right outside. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Its right out side of Talkeetna, so you can go to that neat city easily. - We had my daughters wedding there.   The hotel staff were wonderful-very friendly and helpful. The hotel was in a great location for my conference, which had events at the Egan Center (a block away) and the Hilton (half a block the other direction). Within walking distance of the train station, museums, the waterfront, and many shops and restaurants. - I have no complaints. I was in and out, stayed 5/7 nights on a week vacation. It was a solo vacation and I felt safe. I was greeted by name, had assistance for storage of belongings, obtaining a taxi, and recomendations for meals. They have internet and a printer to get your boarding pass. The bed and linen were great, I had back spasms and spent a fair amount of time resting. I would stay there again.
